Objective

The primary goal was to transition Lori Gill & Associates from a corporate-tethered subdomain to a powerful, independent digital brand without sacrificing decades of established SEO authority. As the market leader in the Greater Puget Sound, the firm required a sophisticated “digital flagship” that could establish a future-ready foundation through a high-stakes domain migration and luxury brand evolution. By aligning the site’s aesthetic with their “Refined Properties” division and solving for complex software constraints, we transformed their online presence from a functional utility into a premium, AI-optimized asset.

1

Brand Independence & Migration

Executed a seamless transition to a new, autonomous domain using 1:1 redirect strategies and GSC reconfiguration to preserve historical SEO value while removing legacy corporate references.

2

AI-Ready SEO Foundation

Beyond traditional indexing, we implemented structured schema and LLM-readable text sitemaps to ensure the brand is discoverable by both Google and the next generation of AI-driven search agents.

3

Bespoke AppFolio Integration

Overcame rigid technical constraints to embed live property listings into an elevated, high-motion UI, ensuring a seamless user experience for high-net-worth investors and luxury tenants.

Three people in business attire gather around a table in a modern office kitchen, smiling and talking. One woman sits with a laptop, while the other stands holding papers. A man in a suit stands in the center, engaged in conversation.
Art supplies including watercolor paints, colored chalks, and paper are arranged on a table with a faint pencil sketch. The words CREART studioz appear in the center, with ART in colorful letters.

Challenge

The transition to a new domain is inherently high-risk for an established market leader. We had to move years of SEO value to a new URL without losing ranking positions, all while modernizing a site architecture that was previously cluttered and redundant. Additionally, we had to solve for AppFolio’s rigid display constraints to ensure listing layouts matched the new, sophisticated brand aesthetic.

Our solution

We transformed the digital presence of Lori Gill & Associates by executing a high-stakes migration that balanced technical precision with luxury brand storytelling. By decoupling the firm from its legacy subdomain, we established a sovereign brand identity supported by a deep, intent-based site architecture. This “living platform” was engineered to scale, ensuring that their dominant market share in the Greater Puget Sound is protected against both traditional competitors and the shifting landscape of AI-driven search.

The core of our strategy focused on creating a high-motion, “dark mode” experience that mirrors the prestige of their Refined Properties division. We overcame the rigid constraints of third-party software by custom-styling property feeds to match the new, elegant aesthetic. This ensures that high-net-worth investors and luxury tenants experience a seamless, elevated journey from their initial search query to the final property listing, reinforcing the firm’s status as the best in the business.

Research

We conducted a comprehensive audit of the Lori Gill & Associates digital footprint to bridge the gap between their market-leading performance and their legacy web presence. Our process involved a deep dive into their existing site architecture, brand messaging, and the technical complexities of their domain history. We also performed extensive persona mapping for high-net-worth property owners and relocation clients to identify the specific high-end features and information they require to trust a management partner.

Key Findings

Brand Misalignment: The previous site felt tethered to generic corporate templates, failing to reflect Lori Gill’s "Best in the PNW" status and independent market authority.
Technical SEO Risks: Years of search authority were at risk due to a complex transition from a corporate subdomain to a new, independent brand domain.
Functional Gaps: The integration with AppFolio was purely utilitarian, lacking the "Refined Properties" luxury aesthetic required for high-end listings.
Mobile Experience: Navigation for property listings was cumbersome on mobile devices, which is where the majority of modern tenants and owners begin their search.
Missing Value Props: Critical data—such as their industry-low "average days on market"—was buried or missing, failing to communicate their unique selling points.
Asset Repetition: The website relied heavily on repetitive stock imagery that didn't capture the sophisticated, PNW-specific culture of the firm.

Recommendations

Sovereign Domain Strategy: Implement a strict 1:1 redirect map and GSC reconfiguration to migrate SEO value to the new independent domain with zero downtime.
Luxury UI Overhaul: Redesign the interface with a sophisticated, organized layout that highlights the "Refined Properties" division through modern typography and depth.
Custom AppFolio Styling: Use advanced integration techniques to wrap standard property data in a bespoke, high-end gallery design.
AI-Ready Foundation: Incorporate structured schema and LLM-readable sitemaps to ensure visibility in both traditional and AI-driven search environments.
Intent-Based Navigation: Restructure the site hierarchy to provide clear, rapid pathways for owners (management services) and tenants (luxury listings).
Curated Visual Storytelling: Replace outdated stock with professional, localized imagery and updated team bios to humanize the brand’s leadership.
