Ben Brittingham
CMO
Ben Brittingham is the CMO at Integrity Marketing Services. He has spent more than twenty years in sales, marketing, and product, working his way from the front lines to the executive suite. He is less interested in what a campaign looks like than in whether it puts the phone in the owner's hand.
Ben also founded and runs Bedrock Branding, a brand strategy firm in Monroe, Washington built for contractors and home service owners. He brings that practice to Integrity, both for the agency itself and for the clients who need a marketing leader in the room.
Background
Twenty Years, Front Line to Executive Suite
Ben did not start in an agency. He came up through sales and general management, across mid-cap companies and private equity backed ventures, building and scaling the teams that carry the number.
That path matters. He has carried a quota, hired the people who carry quotas, and answered to a board about margin. When he reads a marketing plan, he reads it the way an owner does.
His work runs through dealer networks and channel development, revenue growth and margin expansion, team building, and go-to-market execution. Marketing is the piece he kept coming back to, because it was usually the piece that was broken.
"I kept watching great contractors lose work to competitors who were not better at the trade, just better at being found. That is a fixable problem. My job is to take marketing off your plate, build it the right way, and prove it is working."
What He Does
Ben owns marketing strategy at Integrity: how the agency positions itself, how we talk about the work, and how the services connect into something a business owner can actually follow. In a given week that looks like this.
Working with an owner to find what actually makes their business different
Setting brand direction before a website or a campaign gets designed
Building the marketing plan the SEO, ads, and content teams execute against
Reviewing performance with a client and deciding what changes next quarter
Helping the Integrity team sharpen how we position our own work
He also sits directly with clients. Plenty of the businesses we work with have never had a marketing leader, and Ben is the person who ties the website, the ads, and the review requests back to a number the owner actually cares about.
Why He Works With Contractors
Ben started Bedrock Branding after watching the same pattern repeat in the trades: skilled contractors losing jobs to competitors who were not better at the work, only easier to find.
That is why he fits here. Integrity has always built for owner-run service businesses, and Ben spends his days with the exact people we serve: solo contractors, growing crews, and the husband and wife teams running a business together.
His Approach
Ben works clarity first. Before anything gets designed or written, he wants a plain answer to what the business does, who it is for, and why someone should pick it. Creative work that skips that step is decoration.
He treats an engagement as a partnership, not a transaction, and he expects to be measured. Every plan he builds comes with the number it is supposed to move and a way to check whether it moved.
How Clients Experience His Work
Most clients feel Ben's work before they meet him. The strategy behind a website, the reason a service page is written the way it is, the call to put money into one channel instead of another: that thinking is his.
For clients who work with him directly, he is the marketing leader they never got to hire. He shows up as a peer rather than a vendor, and he takes the marketing off their plate so they can go run the business.
Outside the Office
Ben coaches baseball and golf, and he gives time to charity work in his community.
It is the same instinct that shows up in the client work. He is at his best when he is helping somebody else get better at something.
